I spent one night in Berkeley last week when I was in the Bay Area for work. I woke up early the next morning and took a walk from our hotel to campus, taking in all the sights and smells on Telegraph with nostalgia and longing. I couldn’t believe how much has changed in the 10 years since I was a little co-ed wandering these streets. Don’t get me wrong, Berkeley is exactly the same but I, on the other hand, am so different.
Here are a few shots of some of my most missed elements from this incredible town.
Gourmet markets like Andronico’s
One of the best and oldest bookstores – Moe’s
The sushi restaurant where we spent many college nights drinking an endless supply of saki bombs
All of the colors of the rainbow flying high and with pride
non Yoga Works yoga studios
I called Mike and made him promise that someday, we’d make our way back to the Bay Area. With family in So Cal the move won’t be happening anytime soon but there’s no doubt, we left our hearts in San Francisco and someday, the temptation will be too great and we’ll find ourselves back there. I have no doubt.
